All Library books are due on Wednesday, May 19. Read for the World Record parent letters are being sent home. Ask your parents to help you sign up to keep track of your reading minutes this summer. Help make MGS the school with the most reading minutes.

Attention 7th grade students: There are still several crockpots and containers in Miss Reed's room. These must be taken care of today! Also, someone picked up the wrong container. Please check to see if you picked up a flower shaped salad bowl. Double check the name on it. If it is not yours please return it as soon as possible.

K-3..You are invited to a recorder assembly at 1:50 in the new gym today. If you would like to join us for the assembly please come down to the new gym at 1:45. 4th Grade..please come down to the gym at 1:40.

Congratulations to all sectional participants for a super effort on Saturday. We would like to wish the followimg athletes good luck as they have qualified for state this Friday and Saturday. Cal in pole vault, Gabby in hurdles and pole vault, Megan in hurdles, Delaney in hurdles, Abby in 400 and long jump, and the 8th grade 4 by 1 team consisting of Brooke, Kara, Abby, Ashleigh, Delaney. Congratulations to a great season for both boys and girls track team. State track participants, please stop by the Jr. High office to pick up your t-shirt order forms. They are due back to Mrs. Vogel tomorrow (Tuesday) before school starts to get them ordered on time!

Jr. High students – popsicles will be on the menu tomorrow so that our chorus friends can be a part of that.

After the completion of yesterday’s events in the Red versus Black Challenge, the results are in. The Red Team is this years winning team! All participants competed with determination through out the challenge and should be proud of their efforts.

Good luck to all sectional track participants as they compete tomorrow for their place at state.

Heading into the last day of the Red versus Black Challenge in Boys 4th through 8th grade PE classes, the Red Team has come back to tie the competition up 26 to 26. Good luck with your last day of competition today.

Just a reminder K-5 you are invited to a band assembly at 2:25 today. If you would like to join us please come down to the new gym at 2:20. Jr. High Teachers please dismiss 6-8 band members at 2:15 to set up for the assembly.

Chorus members: for those who have not done so, please turn in your T-shirt money. It is due tomorrow. Cash or coin MUST be in a marked envelope. Checks are made out to MGS Activity Fund and do not need an envelope. All Chorus music and folders MUST be turned in.

Jr. High students: tomorrow, popsicles will be sold at lunch to help raise money for our gift cards. Popsicles will be $1.

Score update for the Red versus Black Challenge in Boys 4th through 8th grade PE classes. After the second day of competition the Black Team is still clinging to a one point lead, 18 to 17. It looks as though this competition could come down to the sportsmanship and spirit points. Good luck to all participants.

Thank you Jr. High Chorus and Prep Chorus on a wonderful program last night. Proud of your great efforts and making singing fun!
